The strap is constructed from bonded two-layer cowhide — a laminated leather construction with a smooth black outer face and a brown leather backing visible on the inner side. The outer surface is clean and matte with a subtle fine-grain texture. The ratchet track runs along the full length of the inner face — a series of evenly spaced slots that the buckle mechanism locks into at any position, eliminating the fixed hole spacing of a standard pin buckle strap.
At 33mm this strap is compatible with most standard 33mm ratchet buckles. Check your existing buckle’s strap width before ordering — ratchet buckles are width-specific and a 35mm buckle will not fit a 33mm strap correctly.
How to attach: Feed the strap through the buckle from the tip end. The ratchet mechanism locks onto the track. To remove, press the release lever on the buckle back and slide the strap out. To resize, trim from the tip end — not the buckle end — to your required length.
