PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The VT44 Iron-Wrap is the widest belt in the HoldForm tactical range at 43mm. The 5mm wider profile compared to standard 38mm tactical belts distributes the weight of holsters, tool pouches, and EDC items across a larger contact area — reducing the pressure concentration that causes waistband dig under sustained daily load.

1200D nylon is a higher denier count than the canvas used in the other tactical belts — higher denier means denser weave, greater resistance to abrasion and pilling, and more tensile strength per unit of strap cross-section. Despite the structural density, the surface texture is soft against the waist, which matters for 12-hour work shifts where a rough edge becomes a genuine irritant.

The zinc alloy quick-release buckle uses a spring-lock internal mechanism — it will not open under high physical tension without deliberate actuation. Anti-oxidation electroplating maintains buckle function in humid, wet, and high-sweat conditions.

Available as strap only or in belt and inner-belt set options — the set variants are designed for MOLLE integration and duty belt rigs where an inner belt provides the attachment layer.

Loop width note: At 43mm this belt is wider than standard jeans loops (typically 38–42mm). Most work trousers and tactical cargo trousers (Carhartt, Dickies, tactical brands) have loops that accommodate 43mm. Measure your specific trouser loops before ordering — a 43mm belt cannot be forced through a 38mm loop.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

SET VS SINGLE OPTIONS

Single strap only (Black, Army Green, Wolf Brown): The outer belt only. Use with standard trouser loops for everyday tactical and work wear.

Belt set (Black set, Army Green set, Wolf Brown set): Outer belt plus inner belt. The inner belt threads through trouser loops; the outer belt attaches via MOLLE or hook-and-loop to the inner belt. The two-layer system is the standard configuration for duty belts, holster rigs, and tactical loadout where the outer belt carries equipment without the trouser loops bearing the full load.

If you are using this belt for standard daily wear without a holster rig, the single strap option is correct. If you are building a duty belt setup with holsters or equipment attached directly to the belt, the set option is the correct choice.

SIZE AND FIT

Universal 125cm adjustable. The slide-lock system holds at any position. If too long, trim from the buckle end and seal the nylon edge with a lighter.

The 43mm width requires trouser loops of at least 43mm internal width. Standard dress and casual trouser loops (33–38mm) will not accommodate this belt. Standard work trouser and tactical cargo loops (40–50mm) will.

HOW TO TRIM TO FIT

1. Remove the buckle from the strap
2. Cut the nylon from the buckle end to your measured length using sharp scissors
3. Briefly seal the cut edge with a lighter to fuse the nylon fibres and prevent fraying
4. Reattach the buckle

CARE

Wipe with a damp cloth for surface cleaning. Hand-wash with mild soap if needed — air dry fully. The zinc alloy buckle does not require polishing. In salt-water or high-humidity environments, rinse the buckle with fresh water after exposure and allow to dry.

Will the buckle trigger metal detectors? Yes — zinc alloy activates standard airport security detectors. Not magnetic but metallic.

Can I trim the belt? Yes. Remove buckle, cut nylon to length, seal cut edge with lighter, reattach.
