This automatic belt uses a micro-adjust ratchet buckle system to remove fixed hole spacing. You get precise adjustment in 0.5cm increments, a clean front appearance, and trim-to-fit sizing for office and everyday casual wear.
The strap uses embossed two-layer cowhide — a layered construction suited to everyday commuting, travel, and business casual wear at an accessible price point. The underside of the strap uses a deep oxblood backing that is visible at the buckle fold and when the belt is handled — a construction detail that separates this from plain-backed commodity belts at the same price point. The buckle uses electroplated alloy hardware with smooth mechanical engagement — the ratchet track engages cleanly without the resistance or noise of cheaper mechanism tolerances.

HOW TO TRIM TO FIT
- Press the release lever on the buckle and slide the strap out of the housing
- Measure your waist at belt loop level
- Mark the cut point on the back face of the strap — always cut from the buckle end, never the finished tip end
- Cut with sharp scissors at a 90-degree angle in one clean stroke
- Reinsert the trimmed strap and press the clamp until it engages
- Pull the buckle firmly to confirm the clamp is fully seated

CARE
Wipe with a dry cloth. Air dry if wet. Store hung vertically. Apply leather conditioner every 3–6 months.

Finally following my doctor's advice over the years to drop lots of weight (going from 215 down to 140 lbs.), I decided to get new black and brown belts. These are far superior to traditional holed belts and much easier to use. They cover a wide range of waist sizes and allow you to easily trim off excess length with scissors if necessary where the cut won't show because it's hidden under the buckle, (I ordered a size 28-32" and trimmed off about four inches because they give you a bit extra in length, just in case). They also allow much finer gradations in adjustment than traditional belts that always seem to have too few holes spaced too far apart, and they also have an easy-release buckle to make removal super easy. I will never go back to a traditional belt.
