HOW TO TRIM TO FIT

1. Press the release lever on the side of the buckle and slide the strap out of the housing
2. Measure your waist at belt loop level
3. Mark the cut point on the back face of the strap — always cut from the buckle end, never the finished tip end
4. Cut with sharp scissors at a 90-degree angle in one clean stroke
5. Reinsert the trimmed strap into the buckle housing and press the clamp until it engages
6. Pull the buckle firmly to confirm the clamp is fully seated

What if I am between sizes? Order the larger size. The strap is trim-to-fit — you cut from the buckle end to your exact measurement before first wear. A longer strap can be trimmed; a short one cannot be extended.

What is ox leather? Ox leather is cowhide from a steer or ox rather than a cow — typically denser and firmer than standard cowhide, with a tight grain structure suited to structured dress accessories. In practice at this specification level the difference from standard cowhide is minor — both are genuine leather suitable for everyday dress and business casual wear.

Is this suitable for formal wear? Yes — black or dark brown in a smooth finish at 35mm is correct for business formal, suits, and formal events. The blue strap option is not appropriate for formal contexts.
