PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Nova-Core is a 35mm ratchet belt with a distinctive buckle — a glossy finish combined with an embossed decorative metal plate on the buckle face. The decoration is pressed into the metal rather than applied as a coating, giving the buckle surface tactile depth at close range.
The strap is genuine cowhide with a pebbled grain texture. The pebbled surface hides minor surface wear more effectively than smooth leather and provides grip against the waistband. Reinforced edge stitching runs along both sides.
The ratchet mechanism provides 32 positions at 0.5cm increments. The leather face has no punched holes.

THE BUCKLE
The buckle combines a glossy polished outer finish with an embossed texture panel across the buckle face — the decoration is structural (pressed into the alloy surface) rather than painted or applied. Under direct light the embossed pattern creates shadow and depth across the glossy face.
This is a more decorative buckle than the plain flat-face business ratchet belts in the range. It suits business formal and smart casual contexts where some visible hardware detail is appropriate. For contexts where the buckle should be entirely plain and anonymous, a flat-face buckle is the more conservative choice.

HOW TO TRIM TO FIT
- Open the clasp on the back of the buckle to release the strap
- Measure your waist at belt loop level
- Mark the cut point — always cut from the buckle end, never the tip end
- Cut with sharp scissors at a 90-degree angle in one clean stroke
- Reinsert the strap and snap the buckle back into place
- Pull the buckle firmly to confirm the clamp is fully seated

CARE
Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Air dry if wet. Store hung vertically. Apply leather conditioner every 3–6 months.

Will the buckle rust? The zinc alloy uses an anti-oxidation coating. At sustained daily friction points the coating shows gradual wear over months of use — expected for any coated finish. The embossed pattern is pressed into the alloy surface and remains permanently regardless of surface coating condition.
Is this suitable for formal business wear? The 35mm width is correct for most business formal loops. The embossed decorative buckle plate is more visible than a plain flat-face buckle — appropriate for smart casual and business casual contexts.
