The genuine cowhide strap uses double-row perimeter stitching for edge reinforcement. The stitching runs around the strap perimeter rather than across the face — it does not create the stress concentration at punch points that mid-strap stitching can produce.

The ratchet mechanism provides 32 positions at 0.5cm increments. The leather face has no punched holes.

4. Cut with sharp scissors at a 90-degree angle in one clean stroke
5. Reinsert the trimmed strap and press the clamp until it engages
