HOW TO TRIM TO FIT

1. Press the release lever on the side of the buckle and slide the strap out of the housing
2. Measure your waist at belt loop level
3. Mark the cut point on the back face of the strap — always cut from the buckle end, never the finished tip end
4. Cut with sharp scissors at a 90-degree angle in one clean stroke
5. Reinsert the trimmed strap into the buckle housing and press the clamp until it engages
6. Pull the buckle firmly to confirm the clamp is fully seated

The burnished edges should not require any re-treatment after trimming the buckle end — the cut edge at the buckle end is concealed inside the buckle housing. The factory-finished tip end and all visible strap edges remain intact.
